Vincentia WTP Bird Walk
Grade and Distance: - about 1.75km (1 hour) - easy to medium grade, fairly flat, on firetrails and a footpad outside the perimeter fence, occasionally overgrown but maintained fairly regularly by birders.
Vegetation Types - Woodland, open forest, open grass, melaleuca swamp, sewage ponds / wetlands
What to look for:
Large variety of species - cormorants, ducks, grebes, thornbills, honeyeaters, raptors, whistlers, finches, dotterels, woodland birds, swamp and heathland birds.

Location:
Start outside the entrance to the WTP at the end of Berry Street and head north along a firetrail. Continue around the perimeter of the WTP on firetrail and footpads that are occasionally a little bit overgrown. Circumnavigate the WTP keeping the grounds on your left until you arrive back at your starting point. The site yields over 50 different species at the right time of the year, and should give you no less than 30 species at any time. One of the best birdwatching locations in the Shoalhaven.
